The DocuWare Group’s current numbers again confirm the software company’s role as a leading force in the ECM market. In the first half of 2015, revenue grew by 30 percent over the same period last year. European growth was particularly strong; the leader was France with a 52 percent increase in revenue.
Over 5,000 Using DocuWare Cloud
The software developer’s cloud offering – which contains true SaaS architecture – is resonating with users. By the end of 2014, a total of 3,486 users in 68 companies were working with DocuWare Cloud; by June 30, 2015, the number had grown to 132 companies with 5,171 users storing over 2.5 million documents online. This means DocuWare was able to increase the number of customers by 94 percent in the first half of this year. Of their new customers overall, 14 percent opted for the cloud system in the first six months. The goal of building a cloud customer base of 200 paying companies by the end of 2015 is therefore well within reach.
